Storyboards of Zorak and the Original Way Outs

I can’t believe I forgot that Zorak used to have an ENTIRE band

where did they go!?

They do still show up in a lot of episodes, sadly it’s usually only in the beginning though. The Sorcerer (one on the left) has had a few times where he actually talked and for a while there would be a shot of just Christy (dog on the right) playing the drums whenever Zorak would play. They talk in a few issues of the comics too, but yeah sadly they are not used as much as they could have been 😔

The fact that I am the only transsexual you know only emphasizes that…we are secretly plotting to take over the planet Earth, and infiltrating your prevailing nontranssexual culture is just our first step

Last part of the 1987 Space Ghost comic!

My thoughts: This is just as good, or maybe even better, than what I had imagined from the few pieces I’d seen before. I’ve seen someone say it doesn’t have the magic of the original, but I disagree. It definitely had a more comedic tone leading to the C2C era but it also pays a lot of respect to the original cartoon and makes it even better. It combines everything I love about both versions of Space Ghost. Also I read all of Brak’s lines in Lokar’s voice but really not much of a difference.
